This role is to lead our client's Field Marketing for Public Sector and Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Logistic industry verticals across UK&I
The lead will be responsible for setting the strategic vision, management and execution of programmes in the UKI. An in-depth knowledge of these industry verticals and experience marketing to these industries from a professional services perspective is vital.
A key objective is to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans to drive lead generation for our client's business in these sectors. Although the role is primarily focused on the UK and Ireland market, because of the global nature of the sector there will be an occasional need to collaborate with colleagues across Europe and North America, hence experience across Europe and NA is required.
This role will also involve collaboration with all other industry vertical markets and will provide the opportunity for a senior marketing professional to devise the strategy and lead the implementation and delivery in cross-UK programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide value-added input into concept development, budgeting, implementation and performance measurement for all Public Sector and Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Logistics UKI marketing programmes.
- Prioritise and execute joint marketing and communications with Public Sector and Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Logistics’ highest priority clients that have been identified in the vertical business strategy and sales plans.
- Provide marketing counsel to UK leadership regarding integrated marketing, including image, relationship development, competitive analysis, buyer values, alliance dialogues and lead generation.
- Advise sales teams on ways to leverage and promote the integrated marketing & sales function to secure the sale, thereby providing a unique and differentiated proposition for the company's sales teams, delivering business value and outcomes to clients.
- Act as Public Sector and Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Logistics resident marketing focal point, developing and managing internal communications for the geography, to include sales activity, policy updates, best practices and news on wins.
- Link closely with the global / European Field Marketing function in sharing and promoting marketing tools and credentials.
- Drive innovation and be a leader in advancing marketing techniques and approaches in line with the Digital outlook with the end consumer in mind
- Create and develop marketing collateral and ensure a localised content pipeline e.g. industry speeches, presentations, hand outs, fact sheets, videos, credentials, thought leadership and PoVs and externally approved credentials and references to secure the sale.
- Manage agency and contractor resources and third party service providers e.g. approved agencies, designers, writers, media / PR, telemarketing agencies.
- Define and track metrics to assess effectiveness of all Field Marketing programmes and initiatives.
- Plan and manage investment and budget items. Ensure a measurable Marketing ROI.
- Ensure the integrity of Public Sector and Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Logistic UKI Client Databases and the input of data.
- Ensure that all global marketing policies and procedures are followed.
Work Experience:
- Experience in professional services B2B marketing and business development within Public Sector and Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Logistic industries
- Deep and proven understanding of the consulting, technology and outsourcing industries, both within the UK and internationally.
- Prior experience in the industry our client serves is vital.
