Who you'll be working with
Business and Technology Solutions (BTS) is a team of 300+ consultants and one of the fastest growing practices within the business. BTS focuses on delivering business value, either associated with technology enabled business transformation or through operational efficiencies within IT.
BTS is comprised of 4 core capability groups, which we draw on to propose and deliver our client's engagements:
• Business and IT Advisory Services
• Organisational Change Management Services
• Architecture Technology Services
• Engagement Management and PMO
The focus of your role
As a Private Sector Business Development consultant, you will be primarily responsible for growing BTS sales and revenue from the Private Sector. This will involve working closely with the Sector Account teams and other Delivery Units to identify, develop and close opportunities for BTS in your specific sector. Very often, this may be as part of a much larger opportunity, and therefore commercial acumen will be a key part of your make up. You will also be capable of taking on appropriate senior solution management roles both in sales and delivery teams.
What you’ll do
Build and leverage internal relationships with Sector teams, Delivery Units and external relationships with clients and 3rd parties.
• Working with these groups to identify, develop and close new opportunities for BTS.
• Take a leading role in the sales and delivery of multiple client assignments, ensuring client satisfaction and financial targets are delivered. Working with the sector team to assess client business challenges and plan future offers and campaigns
• Lead the development and internal/external marketing of BTS specific collateral, propositions and points of view
What you’ll bring
Experience of selling and delivering consulting and technology solutions to the Utilities sector.
• knowledge of business challenges in the Utilities Sector, the relevant technology solutions, operating models and a view of success factors
• Excellent board level communication, relationship building and consulting skills.
• Experience of shaping, leading and managing the delivery of the full life-cycle of a business transformation enabled through technology including SAP/Oracle/Other implementation.
